Singapore passport photo size & rules
Singapore uses the 35x45mm passport photo format, equal to 413x531 pixels at 300 dpi. The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) is specific about the layout: the head width should be about 25 to 35mm and the whole head must fit within the frame with a small margin, taken within the last three months. The background must be plain white with no shadows, and the photo must be taken in colour with even lighting that reflects your natural skin tone. Face the camera directly with a neutral expression and mouth closed, both eyes open and clearly visible, and the full face uncovered. Singapore does not accept coloured or tinted glasses, and clear glasses should ideally be removed to avoid glare. Head coverings worn for religious reasons are permitted provided they do not obscure the face. Photos must be recent and must not have been used in a previous application.
